Who We Are  

AMASS Ayiti, Inc. — short for Assurance Mutual Association for a Sustainable Society for Ayiti is an organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development and community empowerment across the entire island of Ayiti, also known as Hispaniola, and throughout the Caribbean Basin.

Rooted in the shared history, culture, and aspirations of the People on both sides of the border, we work to unite common interests through innovative projects that prioritize collaboration, sustainability, and prosperity for all.

AMASS Ayiti is incorporated as a Florida Not-for-Profit Corporation and operates through a growing regional network including AMASS Ayiti (Haiti), AMASS Ayiti Dominicana (Dominican Republic), and AMASS PR (Puerto Rico) together advancing a unified vision of Caribbean cooperation, food security, renewable energy, and environmental restoration.

 

What We Do 

At AMASS Ayiti, we focus on creating opportunities that drive progress and strengthen unity across the island. Our work spans key areas, including:

• Agriculture: Developing sustainable farming practices, procuring and multiplying world-class genetics, cultivating diverse crops, and promoting food security while creating jobs and enhancing livelihoods.

• Agroforestry: Implementing agroforestry systems that integrate livestock, crops and trees to optimize land use, improve soil fertility, increase biodiversity, reduce deforestation, and enhance climate resilience.

• Aquaculture: Advancing innovative and sustainable aquaculture systems to support food security, generate proteins for health and income, and restore marine ecosystems, fostering balance between economic growth and environmental preservation.

• Water Management & Testing: Providing access to clean water through sustainable solutions by appropriately affordable technologies and conducting regular water quality testing to ensure public health and preserve water resources.

• Renewable Energy: Advancing green, ocean power, and waste-to-energy initiatives to provide sustainable power solutions for island communities.  

• Economic Empowerment: Generating employment opportunities by integrating cooperative finance of associate members in private and co-op enterprises, while fostering equitable economic development across the region.

• Tractor/Vehicle Assembly & Distribution: Design, domestic assembly and co-op franchise network sales of reliable bio-fueled diesel tractors/utility vehicles, empowering producers, enabling infinite scalability in most affordable agro-industrial conservation and remote rural electrification.

• Community Development: Strengthening communities through projects that improve infrastructure, education, and access to resources for all Caribbean peoples.
